This is fantastic with kids of all ages, you can take babies and toddlers and they have purpose built activity stations for them, and the older kids have tons to do and see as well, cannot recommend highly enough!!
The Above and Beyond flight exhibition was a highlight for us adults and the kids particularly enjoyed Excite@Q where there is a drop slide, air hockey and many other activities for the kids (and adults) to enjoy.

This is an ideal place for kids - the visitor centre is highly interactive and contains remarkable artifacts from the space program - including a real moon rock collected by Apollo 11.
The artifacts, presentations, memorabilia and information on space exploration and astronomy is fantastic which will keep you (young and old) busy for a few hours!
