What travelers are saying
- Matheus UlhoaBelo Horizonte, MG21 contributionsQuiet beach where you can relax. You can either start your stay, as I am doing, to slow down from my hectic routine... Or finish your stay at São Miguel do Gostoso here, to get the last memories of an astonishing sunset.
Good for swimming and kids. Although it seems to be an open sea, waves are minimal, possibly due to some rocks blocking them, which makes it suitable to kids play in safety. Low tides makes the sea looking better. I've seen a big turtle swimming here.
This beach is distant from the city center, accessible through transfer, buggy, quadricicle or rented car.
Hot place, where the content wind gives a false sensation of freshness, don't fool yourself and protect from the sun.Written September 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. In fact all the four beaches in SMG are one but this is the best part. bring a shade and chairs if you do wanna saty on the beach. It's very windyWritten March 4, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Joseph SNew York City, NY28 contributionsWe were told this beach had the best sunset view, and we were not displeased. In the early afternoon,I helped the local fishermen haul in their nets while waiting for our lunch to be grilled. We released a huge Sea Turtle and had raw shrimp while helping collect the catch of the day.Of course, fresh coconut water, was our refreshment drink. This place ranks very high in my list of favorite places to lunch, swim, meditate, and enjoy the sunset.Written March 1, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Fabiana FrancoSao Paulo, SP1,294 contributionsThey are all one single beach but each part has a different name. If you go to Santo Cristo the school of kite/wind is nicer and the restaurants too. Go to one called Mar y Brasa, beautiful people and excellent food.Written March 4, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marco SRoma11 contributionsIt is quite far, but with a buggy is fun... Avoid driving on the beach (as most locals and tourists do) cause there is pleanty of sea turtles leaving thier eggs along this coast. The plus of this beach is the fact that very few tourist do reach this place!Written April 8, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
