You will need to get the local Aline bus and get off at capo and walk down the land past the shop, it does get a bit uneven near the ruins of the Roman villa at the bottom.

The Botanical Gardens are wonderful, entry is free and with more than 8000 species of plants laid out by type and region it is amazing, looking at the difference between rain forest dwellers and desert dwellers.
Citrus trees, desert plants and tree ferns aplenty, make for a jolly, interesting walk along paths of this green oasis.

The best way to get there is travelling to Pozzuoli first (beautiful as well as other districts of Naples) by train where you will find marina with ferries.
