The main Catholic church in the city. Built in Neo-Gothic style. I couldn't go inside, but the tower is visible from almost the entire city.

Came to this monastery famous for its numerous brotherhood and chants during my stay in Novi Sad. Didn't know exactly what time liturgy starts on Sunday, it the end I found out it is around 7.15 after Matins. Church was full of people, monks were singing very nice and later they had coffee for faithful. Nice nature and architecture is what you will find here and also monastery products as rakija and med. You can go by bus 24 from Novi Sad and walk few minutes after last station or by car, they have big parking space.

Quite elegant and dominant-looking church located in the city centre, near the main pedestrian area and adjacent to the beautiful park.

Since the Cathedral is under renovation, we recommend you visit this charming church, with a well-kept outer courtyard. A Christian location for rest and peace.

This is an old but beautiful church located on the town square. Our hotel overlooked the square and the church was a delight at night.

While visiting Subutica we passed by this beautiful building and decided to stop and have a look. The building was under renovations but we still managed to get some wonderful photos of the grand interior. Outside we noticed a very large crack on the facade which really needs to be attended to before this building splits in half.. Otherwise it is a recommended place to visit.

We were on a river boat trip and had an opportunity to see this impressive building. It has a unique location because it’s right beside the Danube River.
    Very nice!

The church is the biggest orthodox church in Novi Sad. It dates from the 18th century and it is located in a peaceful historic area, in the wider center of the city. It takes 15 minutes walk to get there from Zmaj Jovina street, the main street in the pedestrian area of the city. You can feel the spirit of old Novi Sad, a sleepy town at the former Austro-Hungarian border, where Albert Einstein used to come to visit his parents-in-law. The church is spacious, decorated with beautiful wall paintings made by artist Arsenije Teodorović, who made the magnificent iconostasis, as well. Enjoy the spirituality of the place, say a pray and light a candle...

We visited also this church, very near to the Main Street (Glavnjak), as a matter of fact, in the Square Car Lazar, just behind the former Store House "Beograd" in the Main street.
It was built on the ruins of old Turkish buildings, called Plebenija.
The church is made in classic baroque style dedicated to the Holy Trinity. Very nice are the organs inside and the crypt where the noble Sombor citizens of roman-catholic religion were buried.
We liked also this religious edifice.

Just across the Sombor National Theatre, in the Njegoseva str. not in Veljka Petrovica str. as it denoted here, is located this old serbian christian church. In the 17th century, on the location of originally Christian church, existed the Turk's mosque. With the beginning of 18th century, after the Turks left these regions of western nowadays Backa, it was turned into Orthodox church. We entered in this very nice church and spotted the icon of Holy Virgin, which was brought from Kosovo during the Serbian migration under Arsenije Carnojevic.
The church was built in Baroque fashion with elements of Rococo.
Nice church, with beautiful iconostasis and some distinctive icons.

The most interesting thing about this church is that the children of renowned physicist Albert Einstein were baptized here. His wife, Mileva, was born in Novi Sad. Another interesting thing - on the outer wall was the oldest inscription of the name Novi Sad in Serbian.
The original church was erected in 1730 but during the Revolt of 1848 it was completely destroyed. It was rebuilt, in 1862, in Baroque style. It is a small but beautiful church with a dome and golden crosses.
