There is a path that takes you all around one end of the island, which includes two beaches with crystal clear waters, so these are great for sunbathing if you want to.
... style of course or just go for hiking, in case you're freediver/snorkeler I'd recommend to walk across the island and straight under the mountain there is a beach, almost empty, clean water and pretty deep too.

If you are willing to explore a little bit of the islands or to rent a small boat, you'll be rewarded with wonderful landscapes and an unforgettable experience in the beautiful nature of this little gem of Italy
You can get to a lot of beaches on the main islands by car, but if you want to explore all of the nooks, crannies, bays, coves and smaller islands, then hiring a boat is a great way to go.

... at the end of the road at the roundabout. The path can be hard to find at first, but once on it, you Will love. The beaches total about 3 nice beach.Rocks are great to climb on and there are a few jumping spots.
Excellent secluded beach but with several car parks nearby.

Once you arrive at the trail and begin the walk right after a 5 car dirt parking you'll begin your amazing adventure to the beach through rock covered dirt path, along bushes and a few cliff type descent.
La Maddalena and Caprera are full of stunning beaches that are much less crowded where you can park nearby with a short walk to the beach, so why would you bother?

Lu Impostu Beach

San Teodoro
#9 of 181 Nature & Parks in Province of Olbia-Tempio
Overall Experience: A tropical paradise on Earth and a gem of a beach near San Teodoro with a lovely warm breeze as you sunbath for hours on end.
It takes about about 15 mins by car from San Teodoro and parking is plentiful - as long as you're early (meaning latest 10:00 in high season!).

That is the feeling which wrap you when you arrive in this magic place where millenary wild olive trees seem to be guardians of the time dominating a wonderful landscape of a typical Sardinia valley.
The oldest tree is protected with a barrier, but the other trees ( one is 2000 years old) you can explore.

To get to the beach there's a 45 minutes tracking in the middle of the nature of northern Caprera which is definitely worth to do considering the beautiful beach which it leads to.
In fact two small bays one next to the other nestled in rocks, small but not claustrophobic, just the perfect vibe for relaxation surrounded by nature.

... per hour off season (you stop to get a ticket before driving down), and then you follow a track round the headland (beautiful views) before approaching a snack bar (closed whilst we were there) and car park.
The arrival is probably the most scenic part on this beach - it seems that you touch the paradise after stepping on it for the first time.

Both beaches are located just 3 kilometers south of Porto Cervo, and 2.5 kilometers north-west of Romazzino beach – in what is largely considered to be one of the most stunning areas of the Sardinian Costa Smeralda.

South beach easy to drive to if you drive via village road, you can park without charge, best park half way down the road and walk 5 minutes.
It is surrounded by pink and green granite hills and the views were wonderful, dominated by Tavolara Island which was in the background of more than half of my photos.

Capriccioli beach (actually 2 beaches: Capriccioli West and C. East) is one of around 10 beaches around the peninsula; all are exellent beaches.
Only downside were the people constantly trying to sell you stuff (does anybody ever buy this??), but still a really nice and beautiful beach.

Wow! We were on our way home from Palau on the coastal road (an absolutely beautiful drive by the way) and thought we would stop at the the beach with the children.
There are beds and umbrellas available (15 euros for two, all day) or areas of the beach where you can just lay your towel/use your own umbrella.
