Took my partner here on our last day in Prague, as she is a huge Lego fan. It was actually amazing. The models are so cool and so detailed. The rollercoaster was epic. We watched it a few times. Not seen anything like this exhibition before. Definitely on the pricey side for how long you are there for (we spent about an hour looking around), but it is worth it if you are a Lego fan. They have lots of Lego to buy too. We loved this.

You have to visit this place when you have the chance. It’s lovely experience, you can walk through the whole house by yourself just with an audio guide. We paid a little extra money and enjoyed being actually photographed in the historic atelier and in the costumes. Definitely recommend that too. Big thank you to the people there, especially the young guy at the counter. He was really sweet and professional!

A very well curated art gallery. Staring at the top of the amazing building is the very informative Egon Schiele exhibition which is a gem. The Ivana Lomova exhibition is a must see and a fascinating insight into the ordinary made beautiful. In contrast is the energetic bright and challenging work of Janz Franz on the ground floor which again has been well curated. The staff were attentive, informative and friendly. Well worth the entrance fee.

We just loved it: a unique story of the moldavite mineral told in a modern and enjoyable exposition. We learned a lot, relaxed gazing at the green magical stones and had a lot of fun with the simulator and the kids game.

Very unique, very rare in Czech Rep. American cars with special history. You can find there very special cars. For example De Lorean. Ford T. and lots of others. and there are more cars waiting for future in non public garage.
Well done. I was surprised how many people was wisiting it. It worth it.
I think it has more than regional impact.

Cute (and free) little museum, showcasing some of the history of the region via its commercial products, more or less. There's actually quite a number of items, and the placards explaining the item collections are written in a few languages (including English). There's also a little gift shop section near the entrance/exit if you want to buy some replicas of old timey things.

Surrealist exhibition of Miroslav Páral deep in the cellars of Cesky Krumlov castle. Quite a lot of exhibited pieces, for sale. Lots of steps up and down.

It was interesting to learn, that the salt in the middle age was coming from Austria to Ceske Budejovice, and was distributed from here i.e. to Prague. The Solnice was the house for salt.

A delightful surprise to be sure, this museum is a true gem, with thoughtfully arranged exhibits separated into history, arts, nature …and my favorite, local traditions, and regional activities in the past. Very kid friendly, I saw many little visitors excitedly pointing to the displays, clearly enjoying themselves. It was not crowded at all on the Sunday we visited. Signs are in Czech only and there are many steep steps to conquer especially the Fishing and the Gem and Gold mining exhibitions. Highly recommend for those without mobility issues.

We went with the kids on a rainy day but it was a couple of hours well-spent. Wide range of exhibits, including a number of interactive ones which the kids (and adults) enjoyed. It gives a better idea of a historic provincial town but also a range of other cultural and natural life exhibits.

Ceske B in general is a lovely old town and well-worth a stopover.

This little gem is just 2km-drive from Hlobuka Castle and was a Hunting Lodge and belonged to the Schwarzenberg family.
No guided tours, visitors can explore the castle at their own space.
There’s an English booklet at the Reception for CZK30 with good description of the history of the lodge and exhibitions about the former fishing community and the foundation of the Zoo.
With the entry fee you can visit the Zoo too, wild animals, different species of birds, green house.
When got exhausted, at the end of the Zoo the tired visitor can have a good lunch (menu in English)at the restaurant for good price, polite staff, quick service.Lovely view of the lake.
Don’t miss it when you visit Hlobuka Castle!
    Ohrada 17, 373 41 Hlobuka nad Vltavou.
