Built in the 14th Century the Gothic monster is one of the city's most famous landmarks and offers splendid vistas from its viewing tower.

The Church in Glogau burnt down in the 18th Century, but the two in Jauer and Schweidnitz remain as UNESCO World Heritage sites and have been lovingly restored.

Gotta love the dwarfs...they turn up in the most unusual places, making a great addition to the many other fantastic sights in this wonderful city!
They are everywhere, every corner of the city hides a few, they're around hotels, private businesses, city landmarks... What a joy to find them on your travels, great fun for the children to discover the theme or...

There are also street vendors selling sausage, cheese, souvenirs, etc. Walk up to the top of the church steeple at one corner of the square to get a panoramic view of the city.
You will find lots of interesting sights to visit, nice churches with tower view, many restaurants and bars - both expensive and cheap, street food, souvenir shops.

This is a great little island with amazing history and beautiful sights, we walked around there several times and it was great each time.
great place, go on a sunny day, and cross bridges by foot (small bridges that is.) and stroll around, We loved it, and the views are great across the rivers..

Fantastic Landmark In The Market Square.
A very beautiful historic site at any time but particularly spectacular in the evenings when it is lit up and the windows reflect the neon signs opposite.

For a more traditional view, go to the National Museum of Wroclaw: on the top floor is another version with minor variations in the pedestrians.
Worth a view

This is a must see tourist site in Wroclaw, Depicting a battle in a painting of extraordinary stricture and size you will be most impressed.
There are sites or attractions that people tell you to see, you see them and often they disappoint.

... Rooms comprising loads of interesting pieces from Wroclaw's German past, and you can climb the magnificent Imperial Staircase up to the Mathematical Tower, where there are fantastic panoramic views of the city.
Great Leopoldinum chamber, old corridors, mathematic tower with nice view on the river and the city, awesome lights on front facade after dawn, reflecting on Odra River.

This lovely way to wind down after a long day site seeing in Wroclaw is simply perfect and can be enjoyed by everyone.
You can watch for free from around the fountain although I think there is a special viewing terrace in the congress centre that you can pay to view certain shows from.

There are some great views, cool staircases to explore, and a fantastic panorama from the top tower.
Caste is more like a fort, than a residential caste one can imagine, but the view from caste top was breathtaking!

Osówka is the biggest of the three accessible sites of the Riese Project (= "giant" in German).
Long drive form main road leads to large car park with new reception building, opened recently, financed by EU - this Riese site is owned and managed by local council.

what a delightful walk around this island for sure, spotlessly clean and full of interesting landmarks to visit and wonder at.
Maybe because it's made of blue metal, because it's packed with love locks, maybe because the its view of the Cathedal Island is wonderful... however it's a must-see.

Historical must see landmark in Jawor.

From the practical point of view, it is an easy station to use, you can read the information boards easily, join the correct queue, and see where platforms are.
On a return visit the station is one site that i would like to further investigate - and photograph as it is a beautiful building, part Gothic, part castellated, but in very smart, well preserved condition.

Spectacular castle, great views, and the history of the last 150 or so years is fascinating.

This is a pedestrianised bridge and a smaller version of Charles Bridge in Prague the view to the river below is excellent.
But the view looking back from either side is rather nice, while there is a view each way on the river underneath, one way for me was better than the other.
