Definitely worth seeing if you are in the area. Beautiful modern architecture, quiet atmosphere. Particularly spectacular on sunny days.

Unfortunately, at the moment there is some scaffolding in place. You can walk on stilts on the grounds of the pub in front of it. Great place for hiking!

There is a small mound here, a (modern) henge-like ring of stones to mark the location, and a tourist information hut but really there is little left of the site where vikings from the surrounding twelve "counties" used to meet as early as 600a.d. But it feels significant to stand on such historic ground, see the surrounding terrain, and imagine the gatherings of clan chiefs, enacting laws and passing sentences. The oldest continuously running ting is in Iceland, since 800, but I believe this is the oldest/first.

It is just a nice, well maintained, roadside stop on the way up the E6 or out to Tautra.
