    Review of: Castello di Thiene
    Step back into the 15th Century ! Live like a lord.
    his is a place to visit if you want to live like a lord for a day or so. What is nice about Thiene is that it is only 25 minutes drive from Vicenza, but you really are in a genuine local town rather than a tourist place. The restaurants and cafes are a short walk away and are full of the buzz of an Italian town. We reckoned we were the only people in the restaurants and cafes who were not Italian. And so they welcomed us more than usual !
    The welcome was outstanding and the castello, in which we were given a comprehensive private tour, was amazing. Ancient frescoes in the principal rooms and in our bedroom, and splendour indeed. I got airs above my station. Our bedroom was one of the main bedrooms of the ancient building and I have never slept in such a room before. It was enormous. The sunrise was beautiful and the sound of the church bells quite charming.
    We took breakfast in a friendly cafe around the corner.
    The only minor drawback was that, in February, it was just a little cold, but I would not use this as a reason for not staying.

    Review of: Giardino Jacquard
    Strange beautiful flowers!!
    There's was a mostra mercato of Giardino jacquard when we visiting and we see a lot of strange beautiful flowers, plants, that I can't stop starring and admire at them. And they sell with variation of prices. I'm feel so blessed visit Schio.

    Review of: Giardini Parolini
    Nice garden
    Nice small public garden with children's playground in it. It has lots of old trees. be aware that after 5PM park is closed at least it writes that at the entrance

    Review of: Parco "La Favorita" di Valdagno
    Beautiful park with poor facilities for toddlers
    The park itself is beautiful. It has a bar as well which offers all to enjoy "la dolce vita".
    It is however not the nicest and the most interesting place for kids to play. The playground is quite poor, and what is making it worse that there is an open air gym (why this ugly construction was installed close to this beautiful park???) which is dangerous for the kids but where the kids are playing all time because of the lack of a normal playground.

    Lovely to walk through
    Nice park to walk through, the beautiful Palladio building in the corner - loggia, that must have been a lovely place to sit and maybe bathe in the water.

    Review of: Giardino del Teatro Olimpico
    Pleasant oasis
    This is a pleasant green oasis in front of the Teatro Olimpico, free to enter, ringed by Roman statues.

    Well worth a visit, whether you're going into the theatre itself or not.
