Enjoyed our visit to the Keve bath
It is worth arriving early in the morning to get the most of the caves before the hordes of people start to arrive,
The water is about a metre deep and you can walk through or still swim slowly through the caves
Outside area is Cresant large cues for the food which we did not try
Could you recommend a visit with open mind

After many recommendations from friends and internet prospects, I decided to give in to my wife's insistence and come for a stay at Saliris in Egerszalók. And I'm not sorry. We opted for a double "superior" room and half board (breakfast and dinner with buffet) and we chose to park the car in the "underground" parking lot (we put the quotes because the parking lot is located on level 5 of the hotel). The hotel is built in steps, on a hillside, with all rooms facing the limestone formation that is representative of the area. The thermal baths are the attraction of the hotel and the area, being doubled by the possibility to visit special tourist attractions in the area, mainly the Citadel and the Basilica of Eger, but also for the many wineries in the area where you can organize wine tastings. the vineyards that cover all the hills as far as the eye can see. Along with the thermal water pools you will also find normal water pools but also all the facilities of a SPA, and the surroundings, covered by pine forests, with wonderful alleys, offer walking enthusiasts an opportunity to exercise outdoors. I can only talk about this hotel and the services offered superbly and I warmly recommend to anyone who wants to come to the area, especially to those who are regular visitors to the resorts of Hajduszoboszlo. I highly recommend.

PLace is good for families, as for children you can find the various pools with different sice and water depth, water slides and various attraction. For adults is nice 50m pool for swimming. For older there are some termal baths..There are some fastfood restaurants as well with reasonable prices. Entrance fee is really good. Regarding the negatives:
    - please take in consideration that in sommer not all food sellers could not keeep the hygiencial and storing rules - personal experience with stomach problems.
    - In 50m swimming pool there are also the water polo practises, from my point of view quite big portion of time was occupied with them and mostly in top time (from 10.00-.13.00 and then from 16.00- almost to the end..), this was really negative experience for me..
    - toilets are distributed in strange way, mostly concentrated in one sector of area and also some of then are not very well anounced (identified only as changing rooms...)
    - eglish could be more used especially in downtown (in pools area it is ok..), not necessary to have english speaking person but to have the menu in dueal language I do not consider as a realy hard job.....if you wanna use foregin language when you buy a ticket, please forget it
From my point of view resort in not changing in time, or really slowly - in positive and negative way..

Really cheap baths with 4 big thermal water swimming pools. We spend in those baths whole day. I think that there could be progress with cabins for redressing but finally for price 1500HUF it is OK. If weather is not good (rainy) than it is not possible to hide somewhere. So Im recommending just during nice weather. There is also aqua-park part for kids.

The idea is pinched from the natural Miskolc Cave Bath. Its is nice but its a shame that is all filled with chlorine water instead of thermal water. Who wants to sit in chlorine?
Outside it was a bit disappointing as it was just 1 thermal pool, anyway it was a very nice one. Not much green space or trees either.
Slides were lovely, not too big, not too small. Even I went to slide with my daughter.
We had lunch at the restaurant at the back. That was really bad quality, it was actually not eatable. So we had to buy another lunch just next to the upper pool buffet. That was ok.
WE came on a Thursday and it was super crowded. After 5 lots of gipzies came too.
Overall for such a price it could be more quality.

We visited this famous, thermal spa in February (supposedly low, season). This is the highest sulphur concentration thermal water in Hungary. Located 220 km east from Budapest. Pools, are cleaned and filled daily. Open from 8.30am to 5.30 pm. Depth 1 m. Outdoors pools x 2 indor pool divided in temp. segments from 36 to 40C. Recommended for rheumatic and other ailments.

As a local guy I visited this bath several times in my life...the last time was at the end of August. Half of the old area is in use , a couple of new pools and buildings will be built in some months or a year. The surroundings and the existing pools are outstanding as well as the water quality. The food court is on the negative side...very few units, shameful waiting times, average buffet meals. I think they should give permission to more businesses to enter the place.

Facility has both inside and outside facilities. “Medicinal pool” (33 - 35C) available in both area. Inside further a pretty warm pool with waterjets. There small kids pool both in and outside. Outside has furthermore a large pool (50 x 25 m guestimation) and some water slides. And very large green field for sunbathing etc.

Other facilities sauna, steam bath, IR lamps , water vapor room. One can go for foot reflex massage and/or Swedish massage ( didn’t go for that this time ).

Facility is clean and in pretty good shape. Only showers in sauna part failed but cooler pool is outside around corner🙂.

Food & drinks : Inside restaurant which also provides warm food for lunch ( reasonably wide choice, fair prices and large quantities; friendly service too). Non-alcoholic as well as alcoholic drinks ( incl draught beer). Outside offering is even wider : e.g. ice cream scoops, langos etc.

Family tickets available as well as rebated entry for 65+.

Great place to spend a day

We -as a family- with friends (2 families) planned to spend a day in this spa. In the queue fellow visitors said that no more empty box for our belongings - we have to put into our cars (1-2 °C outside in swimming suit). Till this time, no official informatika. Reaching the ticket desk, the employee stood up without saying a word. I asked where she was going. For smoking- she said. I asked for the book of complain (3times till I got). So never ever I go back
