Having visited Prom Cheese regularly over the past few years we are always impressed with the friendly owners who treat us like family and always make us feel welcome.
A few locally made souvenirs are available for purchase.

We stopped at the Gecko gallery to take in the wonderful art of Kerry Spokes and to have a coffee at the newish, stylish cafe (located in the gallery).
A short deviation of 50m off the main road to Wilsons Prom will take you into the centre of this delightful, arty little town.

We love visiting Alison Lester’s shop, as much to revisit our memories of books like Magic Beach, as to buy our daughter a new book (or three)!
What a beautiful little book shop!! Cant walk in without buying one of the amazingly talented Alisons Books.

The venue is comfortable in summer or winter and is conveniently located adjacent to the tourist information centre, the local library, and a cafe.
Situated overlooking the Port of Sale there is also an excellent coffee shop serving cakes and sandwiches as well as a gallery shop.

There is also a lovely coffee shop if you need a break from looking or just to meet a friend.
There is no charge to enter the Gallery, which also has a gift shop containing quality items as well as small and reasonably priced mementos.

Fresh food stalls abound vegie, fruit, fish, meat, poultry, and dim sim to die for especially the home made sauce made with coriander and a hint of heat mouth watering delicious.
We attend the markets every month, the fruit and vegs are good value and always very fresh it does not appear to have been stored in refrigation.

The entry area to the gallery has recently been renovated and stocks some great small gifts for sale from local artists.
Go shopping and then pop in to the gallery for a look at the current exhibition by an invited artist as well as some works from their collection.

When I visited last week I noted once again the amazing variety of stock tastefully packed (without clutter) into this charming little shop; Men's hats, dream catchers, Sterling Silver jewellery, gemstones,, ponch...
For locals and tourists alike, it is the shop where you can always find that special little gift.

As a visitor to the area over the Christmas period I was so very glad to see a shop of this caliber in the town of Bairnsdale. The lady was most helpful as I was interested in a large copper pot that was in the top...
This is a great shop for homewares, gifts, jewellery, handbags and now there is also some clothing.

There is very pretty streetscape so if you aren't looking at the shop frontage and expect it to jump out... it might not do that.

As you wander into the cafe area you will see there is a large area to taste their large range of honeys.
Rob and Sharon have been lovely every time we’ve seen them.

Wide selection of sweets and a chocolate range to meet every wish.
It looks like a little insignificant shop from outside , you could easily miss it ..but..Wow , wow.

If you keep walking around you'll find the unisex toilet, a small nursery and a couple of 'proper' shops (which can also be entered via the road out the front) which sell secondhand and kinda Ishka style items.
