A guided tour lasts about two hours and is full of informative throughout it, it has a great atmosphere with a very realistic stage office the ore was mined.
The entrance fee was very reasonable and we were given a personal guided tour by three different lovely men who knew so much about the history of the mines.

Fascinating museum with significant collections of Captain Cook prints, artifacts, local history including Staithes School of artists of late 19th and early 20th century.
Fascinating mix of photographs, news articles and interesting pictures and exhibits, definitely worth a visit and something as precious as this deserves lots of visitors to keep it running.

Well worth a visit
