What travelers are saying
- Irene TSingapore, Singapore296 contributionsThe village is so clean and tidy, it's obvious that the locals take great pride in maintaining their village. The best part is the jetty, we had an amazing time snorkelling around there. It's teeming with life, so many big and small fishes darting under the jetty. We even saw a couple of giant clams and morey eel while snorkelling. Don't miss the chance of snorkeling there if you ever visit!Written December 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Irene TSingapore, Singapore296 contributionsPiaynemo is THE most recognizable spots in Raja Ampat, offering the most famous view of the archipelago. We were the first batch of tourists to arrive, so we had the viewing deck all to ourselves. The view is truly breathtaking, definitely worth the trip! It's only a short climb up to the viewing deck, the path is well maintained, and the toilets are clean.Written December 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travel Hacking Teachers36 contributionsWe spent the day in Saporken Village with our 3 young kids. We met the local kids while eating ice cream, and then they showed us the cementary and beach area. A local elder invited us into his home for a tour and then we drank fresh coconut water grown in his yard. We saw the local school and the church. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming! This was an unforgettable experience for our family!Written June 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jusuf AJakarta, Indonesia137 contributionsThe scenery up there is as lovely and beautiful as the Harfat Peak nearby, but going up there is more challenging, NO stairways provided yet. Simple wooden tracks is available, however. A unique love shape lagoon is visible to be photographed as a background enhancing the already lovely scenery.Written April 4, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GaganawatiTuttlingen, Germany1,103 contributionsAfter visiting Piaynemo, we stopped in Telaga bintang. This lake has a form like a star, a giant one. Its color is just amazing. The surrounding is just gorgeous.
The way up the reefs wasn’t easy. The sharp reefs may injured our skin but everything was ok. Children succeeded reaching the top and made photos with us. A pair of comfortable shoes and a bottle of water are needed.Written September 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
