The place was awesome with friendly dogs, they have a lot of huskies and shiba inu dogs, we had a good time, the dogs will run to you if you have treats, we had so much fun time went by very quickly, you can get them to take photos for you for rm20 its worth it and reasonable.. highly recommended

The mosque itself was nice. Nothing as elaborate as Turkish mosques, but on par with other Malaysian mosques.

The real treat is at sunset. Go to the jetty at the left to get a sunset photo to post on your wall at home, as the mosque itself lights up in green.

Beautifully kept Baba & Nyonya house from the Chan family. I would recommend all to visit and be immersed in their history. It’s amazing how well they’ve retained the home. We went before midday and didn’t have a tour guide - so maybe check when they provide guided tours as I feel this would’ve elevated the experience.

Great way to spend your weekend to indulge in nostalgic vibes of olden times… walking down a bustling street with stalls on both sides and hawkers beckoning you to try their wares. If you are lucky you might even catch the coconut shake guys displaying their coconut tossing prowess.

Me and my partner dined at one of the seafood stalls and the oysters there were really huge. Biggest oysters I’ve ate so far, very worth it. The fried oyster omelette though not so much

I also snagged a mini handbag for rm30 and bought souvenirs for my relatives there (pineapple tarts, pumpkin noodles)

I am not a politician but if any good they do we need to support and recognize. This is another landmark and tourist destination that Tun Ali Rustam is working on. Although it is simple but unique because the revolving part will go down and bring You up to the top of the tower. It is perfect to take the children around in space while seeing the beauty of Badaraya Melaka. Something exciting for the kids.

    Scenic and enjoyable
A lot of rubbish by the river
    Amazing water monitors
    Beautiful house murals.
Just a bit run down as no tourist trade for two years, but starting to come back to life.

Its a curious blend of Chinese origin traders and perhaps descendants of Portuguese and Dutch still live in the city. Food and music traditions prevail and most of the old city is now a tourist hub with churches and old buildings remnants of forts etc. The maritime museum is worth a visit.
The most interesting part is either side of the canal that is now wall art and restored buildings making it very vibrant and a pleasure to walk about. The night market is probably a big attraction into the night but didn't stay long enough to absorb all of it.

This is an interesting temple to visit, especially around the Chinese New Year. A very colourful interior with lots of decorations. This is a fully function temple, so make sure you respect the users.

Second visit to Malacca and absolutely love the jonker area adjoining tobthe church. The river and its adjoining are has its beauty to offer both day and night. Night the river is lit up with lights and boats also have ssome colourful lights fitted. You may try to walk on the paved way to reach the mouth of the rivervas well.

Our family of 4 stayed at Double Tree Hilton Melaka and drove for about 30mins to reach Woof Station. The location is at a landed property with a huge garden for the 6 dogs to roam around. The dogs were able to come into the cafe/kitchen area with Aircon. The dogs were well-trained by the owners and understand many commands & can even shake hands with us! My boys had a fun-filled afternoon with all the doggies with different personalities! Owners (Fong and Sharine) were very friendly and we felt like we were chatting with our old friends. Will definitely come back again!

We took a detour to visit this place as we missed it the last time.

We were shown around by the owner, Haji Ibrahim who is the descendent of the founder of this village. Lots of cool antiques to see. Entrance is free but donations are welcomed for the upkeep of the house.

We arrived in Malacca in the afternoon. As our hotel room wasn't ready, we walked around and ended up at the Shore Oceanarium and decided to give it a go. As many have observed, it is not as big as Aquaria but overall it is a good indoor attraction. We enjoyed strolling from one exhibit to another. Quite a good variety of species. Places to sit for the elderly. No toilets though. The touch pool was out of bounds as they were adhering to Covid-19 SOP. With each ticket, we were given a keychain (Nemo keychain) and 3D glasses for the one of the video presentations inside.
