What travelers are saying
- AVA c7 contributionsMy kids loved it here, they had so much fun in the sea on the inflatables. The only downside is the lack of seating in the area where you go in the sea. There’s loads of beds that people throw towels over and then stay empty most of the day because they are in the sea. We had to sit on a tiny bit of concrete at the end of the pier with a few other people next to the ladder to get in. Other families had nowhere to sit. The attendants need to clear the towels off the beds regularly so families have somewhere to watch their kids when they are in the sea.Written August 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AnnieC CSouthampton, UK6 contributionsThis is an experience not to miss. The WW2 shelters are run by volunteers and the gentleman on duty when we visited was incredibly knowledgeable about their history. Besides negotiating the tunnels themselves, there's plenty of very interesting relics to view and film footage to see. To learn that these shelters were created with bare hands is astonishing.Written September 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lori-Jade S5 contributionsA beautiful beach, the nicest we found on the island and we tried a few over the course of 2 weeks! Great facilities, reasonable loungers, warm, clear shallow water, spotlessly clean and even though it was busy, it wasn’t rowdy at all. We spent the day and wish we’d have found it sooner!Written September 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Natalie R7 contributionsLovely beach suitable for all the family. Yes there are ciagrette stubs but other than that we found it mainly clean with bins everywhere if needed. Sand is soft (very hot!) There's a small board walk and showers. Limited changing facilities and we found one portacabin toilet. Lots of sunbeds to hire we paid €17 for 2. Sea is clear and shallow but still swimmable. There was a lifeguard present too. Food places, inflatable shops and activities. Would definitely recommend it was beautiful.Written August 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- mbakerfamilyAberystwyth, UK76 contributionsWe were staying in Mellieha so decided to visit as we were so close. Lovely gentleman welcomed us & provided information leaflets. €2.50 to enter. Short informative video to watch explaining the history of the tower before you explored. Views from top were amazing but very windy the day we visited so hold onto your hats!Written September 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Janet clancashire17 contributionsWell organised. There is a shop and cafe on board at very reasonable prices. The trip takes about 25-30 mins. Tickets cost approx £5 return.Written June 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ashvini rBristol31 contributionsStayed here for 4 nights. Our room was beach facing and had a balcony. We had my birthday lunch in the balcony. Absolutely loved it. Hotel also has a private beach. Best part was the number of sparrows around the hotel. You would wake up to their songs :) .
Breakfast had live cooking and a wide spread of things you could eat and fresh fruits.
One thing to avoid is city sightseeing counter in the lobby. Their buses are infrequent and they cost double the amount you would get tours in the city.Written October 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
