Small but very varied and interesting park. We were camping, just overnight, but had enough time to walk the entire park before striking camp. With woodland, heathland, big and lake it was varies and interesting. Teeming with life, especially birds.

This is the 11th year of hosting the Joel Park Residents Association free annual get together, and once again Wokingham Town Council have been 100% in ensuring the park is presented in great order for the large congregation of visitors.

Thanks to the maintenance staff, town clerk and councillors for allowing this to happen. Looking forward to 2023 already.

good if it isnt busy - we got lucky and it was very nice as there were only about 5 other kids there - as such our children pretty much had the place to themselves and really enjoyed themselves as this was the first post lockdown soft play we had done in almost two years

we will be going back but not on the weekends when i assume its mental !

In order to build my stamina, I do reps up and down the hill here with my rucksack. It’s not very long but it is quite steep so good exercise all round

Was visiting to go on the steam train at Pinewood but decided to have brunch at the cafe which is like a social club. It was really busy so decided to sit outside, you order at the counter and pay and given a table number, the food is reasonable pub style cheap grub.
Good for kids and a quick cheap lunch.

This is a nice place to rest away from the busy traffic of the high street, just off the town centre. Benches, grass and paths to everywhere you'd need to go to in Wokingham town centre.

This is a nice park to visit when shopping in Wokingham, especially with young children. I has an excellent playground to suit all ages and abilities.
