- Dina H113 contributionsThis is an outstanding Viking museum and site. To observe first hand Harold Bluetooth’s rune stone and also the one where the word for Denmark is first used is incredible. To be there is to be at the crux of Denmark’s unified beginning. Really well done.Written March 5, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MAM353 contributionsVisited here on our 16 day tour of Denmark. This was my third time visiting this museum. The other times admission was free; now it is 120 DKK. Great interactive museum full of Viking and Danish history. Walked the grounds and visited the church. We even took the quiz on the Vikings!Written September 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Wolf SVejle, Denmark7 contributionsThis shop is like you heard such once existed from parents or grand parents:
There is a counter, there are shelves filled with items a shop in your village used to offer; next to new items you see real packages, cans or bottles from way back in the 20th century. There is even a lovely small museum upstairs. The sales staff consists of friendly and competent ladies 60+. In the backyard there is a cost cafe where fresh, homemade cake is served. All in all a wonderful experience.Written May 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marius E5 contributionsHad USB thumb drive with guide tour for 40dkk. Few free parking spots. Average food quality. Lots of signs with directions but still hard to find what you are looking for. Animals seem to thrive.Written July 26, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Sdu5 contributionsA really nice free art museum to visit. There is a small cafe. The exhibitions are interesting. Allow about 2 hours or a little less. The museum hostess was very knowledgable/helpful and spoke excellent english.Written July 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Niels LCopenhagen, Denmark560 contributionsThis place is now a school, lovely grounds with lovely buildings, mound by the castle and a lovely lake with a pier.Written November 17, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Easy Livin’202 contributionsBryggen is sadly a mall like many others; it feels dead, several stores are empty and all you have are a large chain stores. It's mainly clothes stores, that you also see on the shopping strip. The parking is the biggest plus here as it's very central. It's covered in rusted metal, that leaves very unsightly puddles after it rains, it's kinda an eyesore.Written August 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - forestenergyBredsten, Denmark165 contributionsWe took two of our granddaughters there. The outside exhibition lets you try all kinds of things with water and what do kids love more than playing with water and mud? Inside is a nice working exhibition of weaving and with a little bit of luck the children are allowed to try there hand at weaving and are then allowedv to take their product homeWritten February 5, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
