    Surprisingly Impressive
    We stopped here as part of a circuit including Perperikon and the Stone Mushrooms and it was well worth a stop. There is very little signage in English but the sat nav got us here easy enough. The features are pretty well hidden from the roadside and it's not until you walk in for a bit that it reveals itself to be quite an impressive place and larger than expected. There are lots of strange blindingly white stone features eroded by the wind over centuries and it looked a bit like a mini version of Cappadocia in Turkey! Well worth an hour of your time.

    Nice visit
    This was more interesting than we had expected. We visited after going to Perperikon in the morning and although it's only a small place the stone features are really interesting. It was a beautiful day and set against a clear blue sky they were very photogenic. We were there for 30-40 mins and parking is easy on the roadside.

    Mystical Thracian Temple near Kardzhali
    A fantastic and mystical ancient Thracian sanctuary near Kardzhali! A definite must-see. It's a hidden gem waiting to be discovered and swarmed by the crowds. The hike to the cave was a bit strenuous (for novice hikers, that is) and took around one hour, but the views were well worth the effort!!! The trail is not well marked, and there is no parking at the trailhead, so we had to park on the side of the road. There is a hotel&restaurant nearby, which is right on the water and serves delicious fresh fish.

    Just passing by
    We were on a half day tour in town and the church was on our way to the historical museum. It is a great town to be and the church is one of the places to visit

    Awesome museum to visit
    We were going around town and expecting a small museum to visit. Once we reached the site we were surprised - huge and exciting building.

    Three floors with hierarchical structure and great expositions. Especially the cultural and traditional crafts from the region.

    We would consider those as a must visit if you are around.

    The Most Concise Bulgarian Art Collection
    It is not a large gallery - but every painting and sculpture is worth your attention - this is an unbelievable gallery to visit. Not popular enough but words like "jem" totally fit it. The third most elaborate art collection in Bulgaria - A total Must if you are even remotely into art.
