We visited Thung Wua Laen Beach in the end of May. The Thung Wua Laen Statue is good. The beach is wide. We didn’t swim at the beach. The water was ok. The restaurants at the beach had a few customers on the Tuesday.

I went snorkeling by a day trip from a local tour. It was beautiful and better than I expected. One disappointment was from unable to land on any islands so, we had to had lunch on a boat. It was quite dizzy and uncomfortable.

The bay is approximately 5km long with wide sandy beaches. The bay has a number of small resorts and seafood restaurants with views of Ko Khai island. You can rent a fishing boat and snorkelling gear to travel to the island. The bay is generally quiet with a good distance between each resort. Located about 3km from the airport it also has luxury accomodation at the nearby Sara Boutique Hotel.

One if Thailand’s most beautiful tropical beaches and virtually unknown. White sand beach, great for swimming with limestone cliffs at each end of the bay.

Bang Son Bay is a very quiet bay with a few restaurants and some accommodation is to be found. The swimming is not very good at this bay as you need to walk out a long way to get any depth. The best thing about this bay is the restaurants and the fresh crabs you can buy to eat, great taste and so cheap

This is a motorbike dream come true. The road along the cape is beautiful and almost empty, along wild, golden beaches. If you have your motorcycle, come here for a ride.

There's a lot to see actually. You can go to the Kuan Im statue platform to have a great view of the sea and nearby islands. You can even higher to where the big Buddha statue is. There's an unusual wooden building at the bottom and there's some statues at bottom depicting the fate awaiting sinners in graphic detail.

We booked ticket easy at hotel the evening before, drove there by our own car - parking 50 bath per day, very easy and friendly - car is in shadow entire time !! than you go to ferry, at the pier, people are friendly, local good restaurant serves very fast and you can eat good food before jumping on ferry.... ATTention: you have to brink your luggage by yourself to the ferry-boat - in midday heat and with heavy luggage ( eg diving gear)... the pier is about 350 meters and the wooden panels make it not easier...... quiet tiring if you carr 50 km each person ... journey than was nice - Koh Tao pier is easier....
