The guide Mary was excellent, with an extensive knowledge of the bog, the builders of the road and the various theories around the purpose and use of the road or trackway.
We had the most fantastic individual attention from our guide today who showed us the 18-minute video and an excavated portion of the walkway dating from 148BC.

Patrick was amazing in helping me find additional information on my family and educating me on how to continue my quest.
The center is in the gift shop of the Museum, and the Museum is in a mall-style area with lots of options for lunch.

The history buffs will enjoy the detailed but accessible information boards while the kids can get lost in the fantasy of Norman Ireland by dressing up and interacting with the exhibits.
