We walked down the steps from Spiazzi and then walked back up the road the bus takes from the church and you can see scenes depicting Christ’s trial and journey to the catacombs.
This chapel is well worth the time & effort to get there, it is a beautiful little church built into the side of a hill under the cliff face.

As we walked from Castelvecchio along Corso Cavour, I noted an interesting-looking Romanesque church hidden well behind a Gothic archway.
Its Romanesque style architecture body alternating bricks and stones differs from the unique facade, well hidden on the left by one of the two imposing Norman style towers.
