It is always a pleasure to go visit one of the loveliest Museums in Europe, The Egyptian Museum in Torino is only second to the one in Cairo and if you book on line you can get a guided tour by one of their Egypto...
This newly renovated air conditioned museum is truly a treasure and competes very well with great museums in Cairo, newyork paris or London...not to be missed!

And, like most Italian museums of all kinds, it's a very hands on education, with lots of interactive exhibits, movie sets and props, and devices to keep kids and adults intrigued and entertained.
The amount of films and cinema related artifacts, and the way how the artifacts and actual films are made interactive and engaging for the visitors, is pretty unique to any other museums.

Best armoury museum I have seen anywhere with fantastic models of knights in armour on horse-back-well worth a visit
If you are touring the other sites in the Reale with a combination ticket or Museum Pass then you definitely will want to take a look at this part of the Museum complex.

Lorenzo was an excellent docent who, through his limited English, helped us through the museum.

This is one of the finest museums I have ever visited.
The story of Italian unification is fascinating in itself and this museum has all the history of the various stages and the key players right up into the 20th century.

Personally I tend to enjoy the smaller museums which rely on passionate volunteers rather than the bigger ones which are mostly staffed by bored youngsters on their mobile phones.
As with all Turin museums, exhibits were marked in English.

A really beautiful museum, different areas are divided by floors, the collection contains pieces from middle east, China, India, Japan and tibet.
The museum hosts a collection of very select art from the Near and Far East, presented in an easy to enjoy way.
