Great country walks, decent nine-hole golf course, fun play area and maze, impressive Falconry displays, interesting history inside the castle and, of course, a very impressive castle and moat to walk around.
... grounds were pristine, loads of ducks and swans waddling around, such lovely views and lots to do including a falcon show, an exhibition of the Battle of Britain, a kids play area and just general lovely walks.

Another wonderful National Trust property, maintained according to the very high standards of all NT properties, with a team of knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate volunteers.
Had a fascinating and very interesting introductory talk given by Marilyn, who, like all the National Trust people we've come into contact with, was very knowledgeable and interesting.
