What travelers are saying
- Kelly CMinneapolis, MN1 contributionTom and his terrifically smart pup Prince warmed our hearts with a sheep dog demonstration that blew us away, followed by a lovely conversation over coffee and biscuits in the famine house. We HIGHLY recommend this experience - Tom's land is a beautiful testimony to his strong family ties to this area in Connemara and his dedication to it and his animals made a huge impression on us. A million thanks Tom!Written October 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- emwhitnallSydney, Australia482 contributionsThe fjord is stunning and so beautiful. We drove here and there were barely any other cars or people around, adding to the pristine, untouched feel of this incredible environment. Definitely worth a visit (even just a drive past) if you are in the area.Written December 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KAmandaManchester, UK96 contributionsGorgeous beach, even with the rubbish weather! A little gem thatās hidden away - watch out for jelly fish though - we saw lots!Written August 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul KNaas, Ireland24 contributionsThe beats are close together ( a bit of driving for some) but a well run fishery. Thanks to Donavan. An overnight is worthwhile locally (depending on where you're coming from of course). Fishing starts at 09.00 so not too early, break between 13.00 - 14.00 to rest the pools and allow anglers time to swap beats, and finish at 18.00.Written October 14, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ronan CGalway, Ireland4 contributionsMyself and my boyfriend attended Delphi spa for my 26th birthday been recommended by a friend. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted by manager Clodagh and spa therapists Isabel and Kriss and Yaneth. The welcome and our experience truely started from walking in and meeting these people who genuinely wanted to give us a relaxing experience. Manager Clodagh was so informative and actively listened to our responses and provided such a unique spa day for us. We were welcomed into the massage room where both Isabel and Kriss tailored the massage to our request. The massage was the best we have ever experienced, followed by a neck and shoulder massage. After wards we were given facials which was such a relaxing and enjoying experience. Throughout this whole experience we were given privacy between treatments and asked if we were allergic to any products or if we had sensitive skin. We did not think we could have got a better experience but we were wrong, we were then brought into the bath room in which we were upgraded from a milk bath to a seaweed bath each. This was such a rejuvenating experience that neither of us have ever tried. We were informed by Clodagh and Isabel the benefits or the seaweed bath and how most skin products contain minerals and ingredients from seaweed. I canāt recommend this spa enough, along with the treatments the service was the best I ever received. If your looking for a relaxing self care day for amazing value, I would definitely recommend Delphi spa .Written July 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rgustkemanitou springs, colorado16 contributionsThe best part of our experience was the personal and timely experience we received, which made our planning run very smoothly and without problems! LorĆØne was amazing at listening to our needs and wants and putting an excellent trip together. She always responded immediately with information that kept us worry free. Our favorite days were the Roundstone loop from Clifden and cycling through the Doo Lough valley on an idyllic country road with no car traffic. While the rainy weather is always a rush, our early October experience was just what we expected. Thus was a superb week of cycling that was just right to gave a few hours of pleasant riding but also time to enjoy the areas we cycled to. We can recommend Connemara Tours and LorĆØne for an unforgettable experience!Written October 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
