We have a herding dog, so have a little extra interest in seeing a dog really doing it's job. PJ explained with such detail and understanding how Rex, his dog herds sheep. It was fascinating to watch how skilled Rex was.
I noted some complaints about not living up to tour expectations. If you want to be involved in sheep shearing make sure you go during the correct season, (do your homework or ask questions before going) as well as baby lambs. Enjoy watching this impressive display of dog and herder, take in the gorgeous views.

One stunning fjord overlooked by the Mweelrea mountain and close by is the village of Leenane and they’re some lovely beaches in the vicinity too- like Glassilaun Beach and Uggool Beach- where this beautiful fjord (Irelands one and only) meets the Atlantic. Absolutely worth a visit🤩

Lovely beach recommended by the locals, be careful during busy hot days, roads are small with dangerous bends. Beach car park fills up very quick on a hot day. Beach is surrounded by picturesque mountains. No waves, nice to relax and float about in the water. Family friendly, safe for kids. Toilets available but no cafe/ water/ food sold at location.

The beats are close together ( a bit of driving for some) but a well run fishery. Thanks to Donavan. An overnight is worthwhile locally (depending on where you're coming from of course). Fishing starts at 09.00 so not too early, break between 13.00 - 14.00 to rest the pools and allow anglers time to swap beats, and finish at 18.00.

I booked a visit to the spa while visiting friends in Connemara. The thermal spa was a wonderfully relaxing start. I then enjoyed a seaweed bath, a 50 min Swedish massage, and a facial. Barbara was incredibly skilled in massage and the facial exceeded my expectations. I can’t recommend the spa highly enough and hope to visit again in the future.

I recommend this company with no hesitation! We couldn't ask for anything better.
They are all very welcoming, nice, kind and, above all, helpful: my boyfriend hurt himself during a hiking, and they did everything they could to help us. They were literally amazing.
The trip and the transfers were very well-organized.
If we will ever come back to Connemara, we would contact them again!
    Thank you for everything
