Three of us visited here and had a really good experience. It started with the shuttle driver who was friendly and a great joke teller! The estate is marvellous with stunning scenery and there is a real feeling of history here. Special thanks to Janet in the gift shop for her warm welcome and efficient courteous manner and also to Hugh, one of the gardeners we spoke with as we toured the walled garden. They are a credit to the estate operation. Definitely a trip not to be missed when in the area.

Glebe is so impressive: atmospheric, beautifully located, authentic, and holding a world-class collection of art. Our guide Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable, and made the tour of the house even more special. Lovely cafe too, with proper baking. Highly recommended.

I have been staying in the Mount Errigal on Business during April and May 2024.
What a wonderful Hotel, all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
However, I must mention one particular member of staff that currently works in the Bar Restaurant, her name is Orla.
Every time she serves me she gives a Masterclass on how customer service should be delivered!!
She is extremely polite, confident, friendly and so professional at all times; she is a credit to the hotel.
I will be staying at the Mont Errigal for the next couple of months and Orla makes my stay very special and enjoyable.
    Well done Orla!!

On Saturday 14th September 2024, On Saturday 14th September, Open Doors Club from Swatragh, County Derry had wonderful visit to Tropical World. When we arrived, our group received a great welcome from Clive, Michael and Staff who went above and beyond their duties in giving their time in making sure we had a most enjoyable visit. It was a wonderful experience visiting the Mini Zoo of Tropical World Birds, 🐦 🕊️ Parrots, 🦜 Reptiles, 🦎 Creepy Crawlies, Monkeys 🐒 🐵 and other Mammals.
It was lovely to see the most beautiful and exotic Butterflies 🦋 in free flight from all across the world.
Tropical World is a very interesting place and well worth visiting.
A great day was had by all. We look forward to returning when it opens up in 2025.,🥰🎉🦜🐦

A very worthwhile place to visit. The guide we had whose name I think was Alice was absolutely excellent. It's a very interesting way to spend an hour or so.

Serene and beautiful, it dominates the skyline. Then, walking up the hill it hits you again. It is gigantic but graceful and elegant.
The interior is breathtaking as well. Stained glass and wood, but more than that.
It made me want to be a Catholic.

Reasonably-priced and wide range of draught beers (eight on at any time); some are regulars and others are more ‘experimental’. They are ALL far better than anything produced at Ireland’s monopoly of mediocrity in St James’s Gate. There’s also a wide range of cans and bottles from the brewery. The bar is in a corner of the brewery and separated from it by a big window. The decor is minimalist, in the modern fashion. The regular bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There are board games for those who are bored with the company they keep, plus an eclectic range of background music. While I’m old enough to appreciate a bit more cosines than this bar offers, I’m also wise enough to know that Kinnegar offers much, much better drink than anywhere else I’ve been to in the county. And the drink is, after all, what it’s about.

Visited the theatre on 11th November for The Lost Brothers concert. It was just a fantastic evening of beautiful music and the venue had strict Covid prevention procedures in place ie social distancing inside the theatre and inspection of Vaccination Certs and wearing of masks. Recommend it to everyone 🙂

Well worth a visit, this small museum is curated by friendly and helpful staff. There are a good range of exhibits for all the family to enjoy, particularly upstairs and the downstairs displays rotate regularly.

We found this place online as a must-visit. I’m not too fond of visiting graveyards but the reviews were too high not to. It’s very easy to get there if you have GPS but there are lots of signs on the way too. The place is in a quiet area surrounded by fields and cows and the views from there are outstanding. Totally recommend
