#2 of 46 things to do in Dingle
A beautiful spin on Slea Head Drive and down a curvy trail brings you to the most beautiful beach and my favorite place in all the world.
We loved it so much we returned the next day (which also happened to be sunny) to just spend time and picnic on the beach.

Going back in history to the roots of Irish Christianity, this little gem shows you a perfect early Chritian prayer house, surrounded by hills and the sea.
There is a little parking lot, building with bathrooms, a gift shop, a wonderful little movie explaining history of the region, etc, and then a small fee to pass through and see Gallarus.

I would definitely bring boots or shoes you don’t mind later throwing away given that your trek takes place through a sheep pasture with lots of mud and “mud.”
Been to Eask Tower recently and it was well worth the trip.

At the second option (going clockwise from Dingle) you can see the beehive huts AND pet baby lambs AND pet the cute sheep herding dog AND get a cup of fresh made coffee (make sure to request soy milk).
This is a beautiful hillside overlooking the ocean and the beehive huts provide a fascinating glimpse of life in early Ireland.

Great history with the church, grave marking, agreement stone, and sundial all close together.
Everything from an Ogham Stone - also a marriage stone , to a sundial to a grave of a man who served in WW1 in the American army .
