Mr Fazio emigrated from Italy to Ireland to continue his artistry as a stone carve using the symbols and scenes of the Wild Atlantic Way to inspire his work. We stopped here a couple of time to look at his work and were very impressed by the design, execution and beauty of his many pieces. The artist works quietly in his workshop while visitors tour the small gallery. A sculpture called "Sea Swirl" was the perfect gift for a close family relative. The first consideration was"how do we get it home?" It weighed about thirty pounds and was not something you could put in a carry-on. To further complicate matters, the shop only took cash - no credit cards or checks. A quick trip to the ATM, a little paperwork, a lot of euros for shipping, and Antonio assured us the piece would arrive safely in a week or two. We left the shop with nothing more than a handwritten receipt on a spare piece of paper. About a week later the package arrived, the sculpture was in perfect condition and we had a great gift to give and a restored faith in old world artistry and an old fashioned way of doing business.
