What travelers are saying
- mafischlHuntington, NY1,990 contributionsThis building is amazing. Built in the seventh century! Don't park in the first lot. They will charge you. Stay on the small road and park on the left side for free with a shorter walk!Written May 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- eileen658County Meath, Ireland32 contributionsThis is a hike up the mountain to see Eask Tower and the surrounding views. It is like you are at the top of the world.Written July 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dirk NBelfast, UK11 contributionsThe beehives are a fascinating part of Irelands history and worthwhile seeing for a few euro.
However, trying to make money out of lamb petting, etc is a joke. Ireland lost too many tourists returning because of the greedy few.
On the same route enjoy a stop at The Stonehouse.Written February 3, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - dashing_pilotSeattle, WA62 contributionsA well blended mixture of new and old. A quiet and serene place. - mdc5027New York City, NY48 contributionsI spent a large portion of my trip to Ireland finding as many ruins as I could. In terms of churches this one is middle of the pack, however I still 100% recommend visiting it. It's located in the middle of a cemetery, and is not far by car from the town of Dingle.Written February 12, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- EilidhMacEdinburgh, UK152 contributionsWe enjoyed our wee informative visit to this site. Its priced right at 3 euro. The local slant on the boards was interesting, and it makes you step back and examine your own very small problems. Feeding the animals for free was a small unexpected bonusWritten October 4, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- OliicubeDingle, Ireland9 contributionsMany of the Photos listed here are of a different Church. There is no entrance fee. It is a Catholic Churchi. The Stained Glass is lovely. It is not by Harry Clarke. These are in the Diseart Convent nearby. A fine place of worship. Candles good value at just 35c each. Worth a visit. Stay a while. Say a prayer.Written September 5, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- sleepy155Hollywood, FL236 contributionsGetting to this castle ruin is a little more challenging as you must travel down a very narrow road with little space for passing. The location of this castle is perfect. On a hill overlooking the water and the beach. It is worth the visit just to see the beauty of the location. It is not advised to walk near the still standing remains since the stability of the still standing walls may be in question. Not a must visit but worth it.Written August 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CelticVisionSan Diego, CA11 contributionsAmazingly preserved stone remains in this early medieval monastic site. You have to make an effort to find it but stepping into such ancient history is well worth the effort. Dramatic and beautiful views of the countryside answers the question "why did anyone build a monastery here?".Written May 4, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Nicole BPorto Alegre, RS997 contributionsThis was the scene of a massacre of Spanish soldiers and Irish rebels. Today, there is not much there but the remains of the fort and some nice views. - James CNaples, FL213 contributionsThis was one of our highlights in Dingle. The kids got to pet and feed sheep and goats. Being from Florida our kids had never seen sheep before. After driving around Ireland for a week, this was our first opportunity to get up close and personal with sheep. Best six Euro I spent on the whole trip.Written March 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
