What travelers are saying
- rhysdavies79Ffaldybrenin, UK53 contributionsA wonderful, relaxing afternoon out on the Gulf of Morbihan, sailing quietly around the islands and ending with a quick swim in the seaWritten August 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jenesuispasvictoriaBexleyheath, UK2 contributionsI was aware of thr previous company at this site as its near my parents place but had heard it had changed owners so thought if try out while visiting my mum with my young son. It was great! We took an Ace model (max 5ppl) out for 2hrs and it was great, so calm and chilled, and my son loved having a go at steering. We spotted fish, dragonflies and herons and my son was in awe.
Next time we'll definitely book for longer to go to Glenac or Ile Aux Pies so we can moor for a picnic etc and make a day of it.
The service was exceptional. The lady I spoke to when I booked was very helpful (and spoke great English) and the lady who booked us in (could well have been the same lady) was so welcoming and bubbly. Highly recommend this as a way to escape the La Gacilly crowds in peak season.Written August 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Price is budget friendly and boat has fascinating history.Written June 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tom VKuurne, Belgium82 contributionsI rented a boat without license today and the whole process was pretty straight forward. At €70 for 3 hours, you get value for money.
Staff was friendly and helpful and even served me in English. So thumbs up for her!Written June 21, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Staff spoke English which helped with the handover and boat was well equipped, clean and was perfect for a family of 3 exploring the islands of the Gulf of MorbihanWritten August 19, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KernowIsHomeLooe, UK205 contributionsNo driver's license needed to hire one of their electric boats. If it's a white knuckle ride you want, forget it. But if a sedate cruise up the river to take in the sights is your style, I'd recommend this to anyone. You can find them half way along the main pier at la Trinite sur Mer, the chap we met spoke very good English and had a great sense of humour. We hired the boat for an hour at e40 and had a great time.Written August 18, 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BillE66Liverpool, UK13 contributionsThis is a wonderful little lake (about 50 acres???) with a nice cafe-bar and quite a few sporting activities - paddle boats, kayaks, 'walk on water' inflated balls (you inside!), zip wire over lake and a man-made beach with a life guard in the high season. There is a nice path around the lake (about a 45 minute walk) and picnic tables in the adjacent woods.
We have a local holiday home and have been coming here for 10 years but it hac#s really been improved in the past few years.Written April 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
