Pompei Scavi is a vast archeological site of ancient Pompeii with many different excavated ruins, Temples of Apollo and Jupiter, Forum Baths, Amphitheater’s, etc. well worth the visit.
Pompeii was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome, but I highly recommend getting a tour with a good tour guide, and if you have kids, make sure they know a little bit about Pompeii before going there!
