It houses the extraordinary ancient Bronze Age boat unearthed in a local dig, histories of the ancient Ronan's and Britains in Kent area as well as histories and trophies of the English Channel.
What a gem! Admission was free and the museum had some amazing exhibits, including much from the early Anglo - Saxon times with awesome artefacts.

what a lovely surprise, we live in dover and decided to visit the Grand Shaft, (nostalgia time folks!) we went to the Fort. the layout and information was extensive, the enthusiasm of the volunteers catching.
Amazing to understand what existed on the heights in it's 'heyday' - the barracks etc as well as the marvel (Drop Redoubt) which still remains.

Love coming to Dover castle and coming to the PWRR local regiment and learning about the tigers, it's great for all ages, I think it should have more information about the Lcpl who got the VC
The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment Museum is only accessible as part of a visit to Dover Castle, which is quite pricey, but if visiting the Castle this is an absolute 'must see'.
