- Thorkild PHadsund, Denmark44 contributions500 years of German country side living on display. With 2 windmills grinding flour on weekends where you can see the process while the mills are running. A nice day in a huge area. Restaurants/cafes with reasonnable prices for relaxation and a bite to eat.
Or go to the old bakery and by some cookies or go to the grocery store and by oldstyle candy.
Definitely worth a visit.Written August 20, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - albertv1527Utrecht, The Netherlands603 contributionsAn iconic statue to commemorate how Germanic tribes completely wiped away three Roman legions (which was no mean feat at that time). Historically important as this statue helped built a national identity at a time when Germany was scattered into many different smaller states.
The statue is huge and imposing. But other than that there is not that much to do. Marvel at the statue, tick it of your list, pay the 4 euro parking cost and continue your journey.Written November 13, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - HelenHan26 contributionsThe market place is surrounded by fantastic traditional architecture, and also, like most of the cities and towns we visited in Germany it so clean; no litter. The locals are also so very friendly.Written November 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Amazing experience and very informative. I love to watch it again and let "der Adler" do a bit relax or a quiet stop in my head.Written August 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - LinaJManila, Philippines173 contributionsSo cool to bring your family here especially kids .. experience interaction with the birds especially the parrots . It’s just a small park but you’ll have fun interacting with beautiful birds . There’s the typical bird show which is hilarious for kids . Food cart to satisfy hunger and quench your thirst . It’s just near Externsteine so don’t miss this other magnificent park . I love the garden with colorful flowers too . It’s best to go there by car . Or get to know schedule of bus so you don’t miss it .Written August 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sa ROrlando, FL257 contributionsWe looked forward to attending this Rope park. But after we walked all the way up to where it starts we were rudely told they do not have lockers. However they offered to hold onto out wallets, cellphones and jewelry. All without taking any risk for it.Written November 11, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
