This is an amazing resort and Club med is an amazing place to go with children of all ages. There are possibilities to ski for every age and levels. It is really a treat to be there. Great facility, great resort and great atmosphere. My children absolutely loved it. Club Med is really special and amazing for families.

We went snowtubing as a group of 4 friends in our mid twenties hoping to give something new a try and we came away laughing so hard we were in stitches with memories that could be the highlight of our holiday.
The location is nicely situated by Val Claret and easy to get to from the bus and it did not take us long to get set up.
The snowtubing was so much fun, every run felt exhilarating, and there was quite a variety of ways of going down a slope in a snow tube especially as a group of people. From racing to spinning really fast individually or as a group there was so much to do and we were happy we picked an hour slot.
The facilitator (who helps push you down and spin you) was very friendly and seemed to really enjoy that we were having fun. His 9 month old dog was very cute too.
We highly recommend the Snowtubing at Tignes, give it a go!!

Nice spot for recovery and relaxation after a day of skiing. The pool is large enough for up to 20 people, but I never had more that 6 swimming in the same time. The spa includes several saunas, jacuzzis and one hammam, serving water and tea for those requiring it. Spotless clean.

The Espace Killy is a fantastic ski region providing two resorts for the price of one with Tignes being interconnected with Val d’Isere. This was my second time in Val d’Isere and both occasions I had the most incredible, breathtaking holiday. The scenery is immense, the town is immaculate, and the memories are cherished. There are a huge number of ski hire providers and the resort is fairly self explanatory in terms of navigation. A huge collection of pistes for all skill levels exists and plenty of bars, restaurants and Cocoricos provide all the entertainment you need for Apres Ski!

Excellent day for my two kids with India who not only taught them loads but made it great fun and a massive adventure for the day! Also India did all the required filming for my daughter’s GCSE PE submission which was amazing. I would thoroughly recommend TDC and especially India to improve your skiing and explore the mountains!

In winter, the lake between Tignes and Val Claret is frozen and provides a path for skier, who want to go for a walk. The mountains around the lake are spectacular.and the air is lovely and clean. It takes around 10 minutes to cross the lake

At the Val Claret end of the lake, you walk over a small woode bridge to reach the cross, country ski area, where we have occasionally seen dog sleds practising. The Tignes end of the lake is where parachutist land.

Great ski area, if you are lucky enough to have some inches of fresh snow you will really be delighted. Clearly not an area for beginners, do not take the risk if you are not a confirmed skier, as the snow is hard and the slopes are steep. Excellent sport experience both in summer and winter.

We already go here for 8 years and couldn t imagine a better ski experience!

Kids love the teachers and grouplessons and every year it s like coming home and seeing back familiar faces!
The groups are smaller than regular clubs which makes the lessons more personal and very efficient

So reliable. We have used Ultimate for a fair few years now and wouldn’t dream of going elsewhere.
Mike is a total legend and a brilliant instructor. My boys love the time spent with Mike and have lots of fun.
Thanks Mike, see you next year!

Tignes has plenty of mountain bike trails that cater for all skill levels. There are 5 lift that operate during the summer, this also includes the Gondola in Val D'isere. When booking check with you host to see if they offer the my Tignes pass, if they do it is free and offers plenty of activities, swimming pool, archery, crazy golf, tennis lake activities and many more including unlimited lift pass for bikes and walkers. For more info check out (my Tignes) this make the stay even better. Plenty of place to eat and drink. The views are some of the best in the Alps.

Drove past the lake on the way up to the Tignes Resort as well as when heading towards Val d'Isere. It's a fairly large lake with nice views of the mountain range. There are scenic stopping points on the road between Tignes and Val d'Isere.
The gondola from the Tignes Breveries also has quite nice views of the lake and dam. It looked like it was walkable to the dam from the Tignes 1800 area (Les Biosses).
There is also a dam on the Tignes side of the lake, which you drive over to get to the resort.

The main information center in Tignes Le Lac. It is hard to miss since it is across from the Toviere and Palafour gondolas. The ticketing office is to the side of the main entrance.
The bus stop for Le Lac is right behind it so it is a convenient place to take a lift up to the right level to get to the Le Lac area. There are stairs on either side of the building if it's closed.
They also have free WiFi so it is a handy way to get in touch with people who are already there if you don't have data.
