    Excelent museum
    A very nice journey in the prehistory of the Iles de France. The building is built to be a musem. This makes it a perfectly adapted place to the needs of any kind of exhibition. The forest around is visible trough large windows and the visiting seems like a walk in the park. The objects displayed are fascinating, while the complementary text, images, movies and the replicated items and archaeological sites are stunning. The entrance fee is only 5 💶 😊

    Worth at least a quick stop
    If you are in Nemours you really should stop by. I like the classic architecture, but you can check ahead of time and see what exhibits they have in the museum (they have a web site with this information but since it includes commercial and/or promotional material, it can't be part of this review as per TripAdvisor guidelines).

    We drove down from Fontainbleu / Bourron and stopped in for local information, and glad we did. The lady spoke some English and we communicate fine. Gave us brochures, maps and kind advice. Nick folks. ...

    Dates back to the Crusades
    Stop by here, enjoy the stained glass and vaulted ceilings. Read up on its history (signs in French) and learn about its history dating back to the Crusades and its links to relic of John the Baptist. Under restoration.

    Great afternoon out!
    Lots of zip wire courses of varying levels which are colour coded. Good value for money and lots of fun for all the family!
