What travelers are saying
- Paolo G55 contributionsIf you get the museum at the opening time, you really enjoy the experience of diving in the past in the silence of the place!
You can find cars from the beginning of 1900 up to 2015. There are cars never seen before.
Everything is well done beside the toilet which are dirty, smelly and the light sensors do not work.Written October 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Way bigger than i expected and the quality and variety of trains they have is outstanding. So glad i chose this instead of the car museum. You will be impressed once you go inside as it does look ordinary from the car park.Written January 24, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sn0wmanCannock154 contributionsWe hadn't planned to visit this museum, and stumbled upon it when investigating the Town Hall. It was free to enter and we were pleasantly surprised by the interesting history of Mulhouse.
Maybe not worth going out of your way to visit, but recommended if your in the town centre.Written March 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Laurens007Bucharest, Romania1,297 contributions
The old center is very interesting, it's not as crowded as other cities. You can have a quiet lunch. It's a place to start a trip to France.Written May 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Chevrolet Corvette C1 is a beautiful car, comfortable and powerful. Driving it is a pleasurable experience I shall always remember. I'd love to go back and do it again!Written July 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MGSW19London, UK13 contributionsNot surprisingly our visit to the zoo in December was very cold. Nevertheless the polar bear, sea lions and snow leopards made it worth the visit.Written January 3, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brian TKingston-upon-Hull, UK1,522 contributionsThe Hotel de Ville is both the venue for weddings and the local history museum. Entrance to the museum is free, and if you are lucky there might be a wedding being held on the day you visit held in the wedding room (not the museum)!
It is a beautifully decorated building and filled with many interesting artefacts from the history of the town. The town is clearly proud of the pair of storks that nest on the roof as they feature on art throughout the town centre. They had chicks when we saw them, so don't forget to stand back from the building to get a good view of their antics. Very memorable.Written July 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As a visitor with limited French language skills it was difficult to make the most of the experience. The staff were very helpful & keen to promote the museum.Written April 24, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - copejenneyCarlsbad, CA441 contributionsthe audio guide isn't the best but don't think France has masters that art in any of their museums. Lots to see and learn about electricity. Like their yesteryear exhibits.Written May 11, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Phillip L2 contributionsProbably the only place worth seeing in Mulhouse, if you love churches and gothic history. The church itself was build in 1859 , after the original church was demolished. That is because Mulhouse became a protestant city during the Wars of Religion (in 1520s). The building became delapidated and in 1859, the city decided to re-build the church in a neogothic style. Since then the church has become catholic.Written February 16, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Thomas VOakland, CA19,451 contributionsWe enjoyed this market, but we always love markets. We bought some fruit and some terrific cheeses and chatted a bit with the merchants. This is the city's big covered market.Written August 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
