The tour of the wine cellar was out of this world. We took a wine tasting, and it was a private wine tasting because we was the only English speaking people at that time The wine is out of this world. The best part is they ship to the us

We went there with a group of 20 people all from the USA, staying at Castello Delle Serre. This tour was organized by the Castello owners. We were here 2 years ago too. First a tour in the caves looking at all the ancient ways wine was stored and still is stored there. Then a trip to their restaurant for wine tasting and excellent food. We sent 6 cases of wine home. They all arrived in one piece, so no worries about dragging wine home in your luggage. Definitely recommended.

Marina did a wonderful job walking us through the vineyard and cellars. Highly knowledgeable and personable. She had a genuine passion for wines and appreciated the history of Avignonesi. The tour ended with a five-star multi-course lunch in a beautiful all glass dining room overlooking the rolling Tuscan hillside. High quality wines liberally poured coupled with the best food we had eaten in the Cortona region. Truly a memorable experience!

This was one of our favorites for our Italy trip. Beautiful little village and the place with the maroon awning had some of the best pizza I’ve ever had and I’m from NY originally.

Great wine at a fair price! Really cool self guided museum tour. Nice (very small and unpretentious) tasting room. We bought wine and loved it.

We loved this church and its beautiful setting. Definitely worth the trip to the outskirts of town. Parking was scarce but we parked up the hill and walked down.

We loved this place and will go back, as it was a feast of Tuscan dishes prepared well, served by staff who lit up as we returned empty plates and shared the delight of having eaten their food (of which they were clearly proud). We had a lovely bottle of their wine to go with the meal and took olive oil and a few more bottles with us. Recommend for family or group of friends, also be a nice spot for dinner for 2! We enjoyed lunch at a table inside with a huge view across the valley- marvellous!

This place is as good as it gets! Outside of the fresh food and great wine, Roberto is a warm and knowledgable host who provided us with a great experience. We got a personal tour of the farm where we learned all about how he makes wine, olive oil, and raises his pigs. Very unique and memorable visit with the best cold cuts we had all trip! Highly recommend!

We went here right after Italy opened for tourists from America. They were so happy to see us and treated us so well! We left with a case of delicious wine with varied price points because we really liked all of them. My kids were almost- 18 & 20 years - so we allowed them to test taste as well. (When is Rome!) There was lots of appetizers to try along with the wine and the food was great too.
