You first head over to Bardolino for the wine tasting, where you try 3 wines alongside some nibbles, then you spend the rest of the time heading up further north before there’s a break for bubbles and a swim. We didn’t get the chance to swim on our trip, but it wasn’t particularly warm and it was clear we were the only two relatively tempted to get in the water, so was fair enough. The wine tasting was great, the captains were very knowledgeable and informative, and the experience was fantastic. The lunch was basic but very nice. The view from the top was magical but the area at the bottom was not great to be fair. There were other places that we drove through that were much much better and it’s a shame we didn’t stop at them instead. - Sue H1 contributionAs the name of activity suggested it was a Full Day, early start but well worth it. Comfortable coach, excellent driver and a very good tour guide. Tour gave us the opportunity of visiting the quieter Northern side of the lake as well as he busier resorts in the South. Ferry trip was busy but plenty of seating. We had the additional option (pay on the day) of a shorter boat trip €10/person - pricey for half an hour but a good experience.

- Lorina1 contributionSurreal experience riding through villages high up in Valpolicella. Definitely highlight of our trip. They arranged transportation for us from our hotel in Bardolino. We are a group of 6 in our sixties and seventies, fairly active. The bikes are top notch, handled everything. The owner adapted the ride to our abilities. The views from the top were breathtaking! Then we came back to their beautiful winery and home to an authentic, homemade Italian meal, matched with their own delicious wine. The owners are gracious and knowledgeable, seventh generation! - Ning W1 contributionDirectly from the bus pick-up, the ‘tour’ started. He told me all about the region and its history while driving to the vineyard. The atmosphere was very welcoming and it really showed that everyone at the vineyard is passionate. The history of the area but most of all the company itself was fascinating. The tasting was great and the wines were amazing. Even though it was rainy and cloudy, the views were breathtaking. - Yasmin NLondon, UK11 contributionsWe visited in the evening at around 5pm and it was quiet with enough sun beds to use. The park itself is beautiful with loads of greenery around and space to disappear from any crowds. The pools are warm with Jacuzzis and hot tubs dotted around the main pool. Overall enjoyed the experience, worth visiting if you are staying in lake garda and have a evening spare.
There are changing rooms , lockers and toilets on site and also a restaurant if you feel peckish.
The Thermal Park is located in Cola, be mindful that it is out of the way from tourist destinations and you may need to spent a bit on Taxi fares. Not sure why we couldn’t join it from Garda but the morning walk along to Bardolino was pleasant as is Bardolino itself. At least we were able to disembark at Garda.
