What travelers are saying
- VoyagerAimerSourirePrinceton, NJ976 contributionsBassano del Grappa is already a nice town but when it is viewed from the Ponte degli Alpini it is even prettier! We went on a hot July day but it was much cooler here as the bridge is fully protected from the sun with a wooden roof and straddles the cool Brenta river with fast-flowing alpine water.Written September 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TheGringoInXalapaXalapa, Mexico139 contributionsInteresting museum about the history and production of grappa, a liquor made from the skins of squeezed grapes. Well, done and lots of text in Italian and English. No free samples given.Written October 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DeevouredBoquete27 contributionsIt was such a thrill to sit in this historic bar and imagine the scenes and schemes of times gone by. As for present times, it's a lively mix of tourists ad locals served by an excellent bartender, and let's not forget the smooth and flavorful grappa! We were there in the late afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.Written October 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 1_4_adventureCalgary, Canada291 contributionsPerfect rainy day activity (it rained today :-).
Well worth the €3 pp. Very nicely curated and gives a good history of the Alpini in both WWI & WWII. A good way to spend an hour or 2.Written September 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FTMDaveAdria, Italy7,677 contributionsBeautiful square with architecture from as far back as the 1300s, including the Town Hall and the San Giovanni church - as well of course as bars, restaurants, ice-cream shops, etc.Written January 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - romanshornerMunich, Germany1,277 contributionsIt is one of the big squares in the center of Bassano. In my opinion, it is more commercial than Piazza Liberta. There are a lot of shops arround, but also cafes. Some of them have tables on the square and so you can take a drink and watch the life on the square. Also noteable is the old church of San Francesco.Written June 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TheGringoInXalapaXalapa, Mexico139 contributionsIt is a museum about printing in Bassano and about ceramics. Impressive displays of printed materials over a couple of centuries and ceramics. A Bassano orientation for industries developed in the city. A goodly amount of material in English. Very professional and interesting.Written October 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- EMME EFFEBasingstoke, UK2 contributionsVia Valsugana - Pove - Ca' Cornaro, should be closed to only front residents and cycles (there are alternatives routes!), because it is a resident area and very narrow.
Big trucks, couriers and cars use it for a fast shortcut. Basically you risk your life because of drivers that do not respect speed limits and restrictions (trucks are forbidden on this route).Written July 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
