What travelers are saying
- Lorraine NLondon, UK45 contributionsEnjoyed 2 walks through Bardolino to Garda town. Had a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere with beautiful views and a pretty harbour. My favourite place of our holiday in lake Garda.Written September 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travel Blog Anna Blunschi432 contributionsEven before I spent my holiday at Lake Garda, I ordered my olive oil directly from there - simply because it's the best I've ever tasted. If you find yourself at Lake Garda, make sure you make a short stop there and grab a few bottles of oil. Trust me, it's simply delicious.
And if you have a little more time, it's worth taking a tour of the museum. There you learn a lot about traditional manufacturing techniques and the exhibition showcases a variety of old original tools.Written August 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The wine museum was very informative and the 6 free wine tastings were superb! This is a must do if you are visiting lake Garda. - Cindy N1 contributionLovely winery, a must visit on your trip! The wine and food were delicious, the view was amazing, staff was very help, knowledgeable, and friendly. We ordered a case of wine to be sent back home and it was a very simple process. We would have loved to stay all day. - Nicola H20 contributionsDid the wine tour with tasting of 4 wines. Really enjoyable. A great host - Chiara. The tour was really interesting and the wines were delicious. We bought 3 (it would have been more but we were on foot so had to carry them back to our hotel!). Would recommend as a great way to spend a couple of hours.Written June 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ian MLondon, UK59 contributionsWe popped into the church on our last day in Bardolino, having just got off the bus outside. It's a beautiful spot, historic and well preserved, but also unrestored, the frescos inside are mostly lost, but the remains are compelling, and it is gratifying to see the place still in use.
It was peaceful and tranquil, dimly lit and a haven of historical beauty. It is gratifying to see that it was not over restored, merely preserved. An absolutely wonderful placeWritten November 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
