It has great views of the port from its vantage point.
You could easily miss it coming into Porto Cerva, so keep an eye out for it.Written June 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Site number 6, Nuraghe di Prisgioni also very good. There are also sites 4 and 5 near but these haven't very much to see! You pay for each site!!!!!Written May 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BackPacker58380619 contributionsLoved that they painted the stairs rainbow colors leading up to the church. We drove fifty minutes specifically to take pictures of this. Worth it.Written August 18, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- travelsafer7,157 contributionsSmall but interesting burial site dating back 1500 bc. There are several of these in the island of Sardinia. This one is close to the Costa Smeralda and the Town of Arzachena. A combo ticket is available to visit up to 7 archaeological sites nearbyWritten May 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - travelsafer7,157 contributionsWind and rain carved this big stone into the shape of a big mushroom. This natural monument is cherished by locals. It is on top of a hill and need some balance skills to be reached as the stairs are uneven and there is no side handrail. Parking is limited between the side of the street and private houses nearby.Written May 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James LKingsland, GA125 contributionsNuraghe Albucciu is one of the 9 sites that make up the Arzachena complex located approximately 15 km from Porto Cervo on the Costa Smeralda, well worth the short drive. Three of the sites are here on either side of the main road. Across the road, thru an underpass, you will find Nuraghe Albuccio. Due to its proximity to the other two sites, it’s worth the short walk and a 30-40 minute visit. For additional Information on the other two sites see reviews of Tomba di Giganti Moru and Tiempio MalchittuWritten December 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James LKingsland, GA125 contributionsTempio Malchittu is one of the 7 sites that make up the Arzachena Site. located approximately 15 km from Porto Cervo on the Costa Smeralda, well worth the short drive. Three of the sites are here on either side of the main road. This site requires a walk thru a very well marked and laid out track thru pasture land and forest about 1.5 km. The last bit is a little steep and rocky so sturdy footwear is recommended. There is a small building in the shape of an apse, the remains of a small nuraghe and some great climbing rocks for those strong enough and agile enough to attempt. Once back at the ticket office, a sort walk along a sidewalk brings you to the Tomba di Giganti Moru. If you have time, it’s worth the 15-20 minutes this take. If you are going on to Nuraghe Prisgione and the Tomba di Giganti at Coddu Vecchju, and I strongly suggest you do so, you can easily skip this tomb. Across the road, thru an underpass, you will find Nuraghe Albuccio. Due to its proximity to the other two sites, it’s worth the short walk and a 30-40 minute visit.Written December 25, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Philip4153Switzerland336 contributionsThis 3500-2700 BC neolithic necropolis belonging to the 'Gallura culture' is nicely presented with raised platforms so that you can see over the whole site of four circular graves with 'lithic cists' (big stone boxes). We paid € 11.00 each for 4 sights in the area including a colour brochure in many languages. The free parking is some meters from the site.Written October 18, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
