- nauj63South East England, UK999 contributions… an absolute highlight ! It’s the scale of this place that impresses. And central to this is arguably the Chandelier that dominates the main prayer room - 14m x 8m of Swarovski crystal weighing 8 tonnes ! The ‘estate’ beyond is reminiscent of the Taj Mahal - imposing & memorable for it’s structures. Beyond the Mosque, the Opera House, the fish market and the Mutrah Souk are all worthy inclusions to an educational 4-hour private tour.Written December 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sanka1 🇱🇰🇬🇧Bicester, UK6,172 contributionsI visited the Oman Avenues Mall yesterday and it was good. The parking at the mall is vast and there's free parking available. It has an IKEA store inside which is good and a model that works very well in making the mall a place for all household essentials. There's also many fast food outlets and cafes available in the mall. A very good place to have a casual shopping stroll.Written October 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Muna.A.FIbra, Oman20 contributionsThe only reason why I like to go there is because it's quite and not so busy. I like the cinema, food court as well as a small bookshop at the corner of Sharaf DG. I like to discover the small oil perfumes sold by different sellers in the ground floor. But what I mostly adore is the underground jewellery fixer. They can fix any type of jewellery and return it in no time. Despite it's not been crowded , the parking are always full during the day. It's ashame that the health club got closed before Corona. A good mall with lots of hidden potentials. So calm and very clean unlike other busy malls. The roof top is worth going to and try the coffee shop. Sometimes you feel that every one there is mute. There are also good reasonable prices for clothes and kids cloth. You can also get omani coffee with dates and nice omani breakfast dish.Written July 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NomadicallyOccoquan, VA28 contributionsThe fact it has a food court and grocery store is great for those staying at the hotels right there. Otherwise it's just ok. Some nice stores but many empty ones too.Written August 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Khushbu TMuscat, Masqat, Oman1 contributionA very bright, clean and go to mall for all requirements. A true family destination with various options for apparel, home decor, groceries, kids play area, cinema, food court and more gifting options. - Mohammed1 contributionDespite its fairly small size, this is quite a good mall with decent shops selling different products, a Carrefour and many perfume kiosks. There's a large food court upstairs and a McDonald's, Pizza Hut and a Starbucks attached to the entrance. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. There's no cinema so that's a bumper for meWritten April 18, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jeupsyDublin, Ireland8 contributionsHigh-end shopping mall adjacent to the opera house with a few Middle Eastern design elements. You wouldn't make a detour to go see it, unless you are planning for shopping there. But it is worth getting in to take a look if you are in the area to visit the opera house anyway. It has a few options for food and drinks in a pleasant air conditioned environment if you need a break.Written April 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - alanjoroMuscat, Oman1,003 contributionsThis mall has been open since a few months, but surprisingly no reviews yet. I'm sure many people staying in Muscat have visited the Dragon Mart in Muscat. China Mall is a similar setup few kms before that (while travellng from Muscat), on the opposite side of the road.
We went there last week on a holiday. There are many shops in a single floor building, most of them selling mobiles, mobile accessories, building materials, clothes, camping equipment etc. There is also a food court. Enough parking space available.
If you only going to see the place and maybe spend a little time seeing what the shops have to offer, you will not need more than 2 hours.
Some of the small electronic gadgets and lighters are impressive.Written October 8, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
