Iain is a fantastic (and highly competent) guide for the rock, sea stacks and wilderness of Donegal, as well as being a highly knowledgable and entertaining interpreter of local history, culture and tradition.
I'd certainly recommend Unique Ascent for anyone wishing to do any of Mountaineering Ireland's courses or just wanting to explore Donegal's incredible rock climbing and Sea Stacks.

Beautiful drive, weather depending, the roads are great condition, but narrow, so drive with extra care.

You havn't experienced the beauty of the donegal landscape till you've viewed it from the summit of Mount Errigal, make sure you wear good climbing footwear as the loose stones can be a bit slippy on the way down.
Stunning views through the Derryveagh mountain ranges, capped by the magnificent Mount Errigal, the highest point in the county.
