Fantastic park, very busy plenty to see for all ages, children’s play area, large lake with ducks and geese, lots of local history including Captain Cook and lots of events, a must to visit.
great place to take the children / dog.there is lots of open ground, some nice walks around the park.They have a decent cafe.A good play area for the children.It is well worth a visit.

This is a small museum, with lots of local interest, used to visit as a child with my father, it was lovely going there again and seeing all the exhibitions, lots of interest for all ages and a nice little cafe too.
A very helpful gentleman on reception and FREE entry to the museum, we spent a couple of hours wandering around the different rooms and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

We have 3 dogs, and we clean up after them so why is there so much dog mess along the footpath to what is a beautiful and clean beach.
