... a little late to enjoy a full visit with only half an hour to spare, however, the artwork on display was wonderful...a fantastic variety of styles and mediums to choose from and seemingly all from local artists.
It's has a friendly, warm atmosphere and the stewards are approachable - often artists themselves so really good to talk to about the artwork.

This museum is an amazing place to visit it's free entry the displays and history in this place is amazing the temporary displays are normally great aswell sometimes ther can be a charge
The museum is in an excellent position in the middle of a large park with a menagerie of animals and birds - so makes for a good day out for a family.
