What a gem! Delightful and helpful staff, good quality plants on sale, all of which can be seen in the exquisite borders around the house, which is in private ownership.
after very nice refreshments in the cottage garden : the walk round the priory gardens was beautiful; well laid out, extremely neatly trimmed topiary and the wisteria in full bloom.

February sunshine, a warm welcome on a cold day from staff in the car park and cafe, drifts of snowdrops alongside well maintained footpaths (gravel/bark), interesting terraced gardens and unexpected classic cars.
