- BobH764Fareham, UK1,047 contributionsWe climbed the many steps to the temple and as the many photos show it’s an interesting place to visit. There are magnificent views from the terraces and you can even hear the surf coming over the reef - it’s very peaceful. Well worth a visitWritten February 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Very popular with local people. Not a touristic place. GenuineWritten April 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. With many stalls of high quality Thai food, great music and decoration, it was much more than a dinner but a great experience. During the night, we visited different stalls and tried different great food. The highlight of the event is the fire show. It was just fantastic and amazing. The fire show reminded me of the magical experience like seeing fireworks in the Disneyland. Our children and friends are all had great fun that evening.Written August 14, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tan tanSingapore, Singapore9 contributionsIt's a pretty decent beach, but filled with boats waiting for people to go to Pig Island. I only went to this beach for the tour too. Has some nice displays outside to take pics like boats and a watch tower. There's a bar there as well. You have to pay 10/20 baht to use the toilet though. Best part is that the bar has a bulldog that likes pushing a football with its head the entire day, a pretty kitten, and a goat that that bites everything. Wouldn't recommend anyone to go all the way down just for it though.Written September 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarit SRa'anana, Israel25 contributionsThe gate itself is not the issue. The road after it is great! Amazing quiet-beach with small local restaurants - real jamWritten February 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GertChiang Mai, Thailand332 contributionsThis place is a little hilly and charming. The vegetation is luxurious and its probably the main interest as we have a few butterflies species. As to the insects not easy to see some.
If they could get some more butterflies it would be very nice.On top of the hill the view is great

I found the YTT200 to be an intense course - both mentally and physically but ultimately enormously rewarding. I am glad I did it - it was a tremendous experience - and I am VERY glad I did it with Simona at Marga Yoga.
Simona is an experienced teacher. She is calm, professional and dedicated, with a quite incredible depth of knowledge of yoga. From discussions on the finer points of yoga philosophy to correcting fine detail in an asana - Simona's got you covered.
She is also approachable and friendly with a good sense of fun. The small class sizes at Marga (I think the maximum is 8) mean students always have plenty of contact time with Simona.
The meals and refreshments offered on the course were nutritious, delicious and plentiful - and much of it comes from the MY Vegan Cafe kitchen - fabulous!Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. On return this year I decided to have a go and from that point on I have not looked back. The Gym is located just 200 meters from the junction with Chaweng Beach road and within easy walking distance of all hotels on the main strip. The gym is run by Lek , his wife and two trainers Pong and Boe. They are all very friendly, professional and very passionate about Muay Thai. The cost for an hours private lesson is 800Baht and you get a full hours workout. I was lucky enough to get two weeks of private training with Pong and have left feeling fitter then ever with a new found respect for this ancient art.
