- Cristina2014CIBucharest, Romania327 contributionsAmazing beach! Crystal clear water, the most beautiful spot in the area! It was perfect in June, the beach was not crowded.Written November 7, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- scoutdocco126 contributionsYou can get there only on a boat. It's a beautyful place, so visit it. The water is cold, we tried to climb the wall - dws - but the rock is slippery.Written August 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- scoutdocco126 contributionsA really fantastic place, but not for beginners! We walked there on the panorama path, lenght 2,3 km, elevation 250 m with steep end. Fantastic panorama, steep end to walk, good shoes are must! The beginning of a path to the kanyon from the beach is easy, but only some hundred meters. If you get to the area of rocks, continue your route only, if you are a skilled climber. There are some rocks to climb free solo II+, III, or ropes to climb A1.Written August 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- My e Mail APristina, Kosovo219 contributionsThe monastery itself is being restored. Several dwellings are finished and so is the church. But at the moment it's mostly looking like a construction site. The church has one old fresco inside which I guess is the highlight of this monastery. Hopefully they can uncover more, but looking at the skill of the workers it's doubtfull.
The other highlight is the view. Quite nice, but not worth a detour.
Gjipe Beach is what probably makes it worth taking this road. Just before (200m) the road up to the monastery the road splits. One towards the monastery and another towards the parking of Gjipe Beach. The sand is red and sticky. Something specific for this area.Written June 30, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Loni MRome, Italy39 contributionsI love the Albanian coast, things there are chiper, and the place is clean , the blu water is pretty trasparent , yeahh great place i'll be back!Written April 14, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Qilari i Vjeter-Old CellarFier County, Albania56 contributionsSafe instructor, wonderful experience, and of course something to try even for a second time ;)... he pickup us from our hotel, and bring us back in time, and he didnt forget to give us a glass of vine in the endWritten October 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jens R2 contributionsNicely located at the beach and with cool lights as well making it a relaxed and fancy bar. We could choose some club/lounge music as we needed a break from loud Albanian music.Written July 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bret GOrlando, FL27 contributionsme and my son went out for the night and was drinking. Requested a couple of songs and they said absolutely, then our waiter tried to cash us out early without a receipt and was trying to charge us more. In Albania the Law states they have to put a receipt on the table for each order. He said it was $48 when I demanded receipts it was actually $36🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️Written August 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ledia Harizi1 contributionRestaurant: Poor managment, the order arrived 1-2 hours later. Price quality ratio very low. Not going back again, will not recommend.Written June 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- KC1096Tirana, Albania15 contributionsThe only good thing at this location is the sea. To begin with, as soon as we arrived we asked one of the guy's who worked there if it was ok to park our car by the roadside because it was to narrow and we didn't want to create traffic. He said that everyone parked it there, however, from time to time the police dropped by and you could get a fine because it was not allowed to actually park it there. We decided to try our luck since it was almost 12 pm and we wanted to rest. The bar service was awful, they were very slow and didn't have most of the beverage we asked and in case you wanted an espresso you had to go up to the hotel because they wouldn't bring it for you. Same thing for the food menu, we considered eating lunch there because we didn't want to move the car and the same guy as before told us that we had to get it from the hotel. The prices were outrageous so we opted for another restaurant nearby. Bottom line, I will never again stay at this place no matter how much I love the sea and how beautiful the seashore was.Written September 9, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
