Quayside in lancaster on a sunny day was fabulous we visit the maritime museum it is very interesting and lots of other information there is a monument of the slave trade and a good walk along the quays
beautifully restored warehouse contains an outstanding history of trade on the lune , excellent accessible presentation and artefacts.

Fantastic interactive displays for children, lots of scheduled activities and a quiz to do whilst going round, and best of all it's all free!!! Well worth a visit.
This gem is in the town market square and has a fantastic collection of local history and a great military section dedicated to the local regiments.
