This is by far the best place to go for a trail ride! Great group of people, horses are great and the trails are so wonderful!

We have visited 4 Eagle a few times before as we love going out there! This visit was a little different. We went to the New Years’ Eve dinner. It was not in the same building as last year and while I much prefer the log cabin dinners, this was a pleasant surprise. First- the food- was a foodie’s dream. I am from Chicago and consider myself a snob. WOW. The management mentioned that people seemed to prefer the event in the log building. I get it… but the staff, the band, and the food were fantastic. If I were to have a formal event- this would be the place to do it. In the event building. Next year they will have NYE in the log building and I will go. Come, be hungry, take a sleigh ride, and relax. They got this.

Please visit! It’s a must if you are looking for a wonderful outdoor activity for the family. We were welcomed by a very nice group that led us through a scenic trail. No experience required, any age, any level. Highly recommend.

My niece is a high school Freshman with no brick and mortar high school for now. Since she 'attends' online, I took her up to Kohl's Ranch Lodge east of Payson as a consolation prize for missing out on all those new experiences. We decided a horseback ride was a great experience on a beautiful day Kennon was our Wrangler. The ride is up and down a mountain with beautiful old really tall pines and alligator junipers. Kennon has quite a personality and is quite fun. The 'office' isn't fancy, consisting of two fairly large travel trailers where the wranglers live. You pay with cash or a credit card over a big old cable spool used as the outdoor office desk. It's not fancy but it is definitely legit. Kennon tells you up front he only 'takes payment from the survivors'. The stables have been part of the Kohl's Ranch Lodge experience for years. A separate business, you can find it behind the Lodge grounds and to the right up a little hill.

My wife and I went out on a 1.5 hour trail ride this morning with George and Lucie. It was fantastic. The horses were calm and comfortable and obviously well cared for and well trained. We rode out of the ranch through woods and stopped briefly at a spring. We saw wild deer in the distance and a tortoise crossing the track in front of us. Overall a great experience.

This is a small family owned farm with about 15 horses. These Clydesdales are very gentle animals. They appear to be well taken care of and the owners are in touch with their moods. We took an hour hour trail ride through a wooded area next to the farm. We had 5 riders and three guides. It was a walking pace. We were allowed to hang around the farm afterward and visit the horses. We brought apples and carrots to feed the horses. Cost was $75 cash and we also gave a tip. I emailed prior to our trip but did not get a response. I left a telephone message and got a call back in 10 minutes. I made the reservation over the phone. I highly recommend this for anyone who loves horses.

Jacklyn took me and my friend on a private 2-hour ride through her property on the ranch as well as the public land adjacent to the Crazy Horse Ranch. The Crazy Horse Ranch is also an animal sanctuary and it’s apparent that Jacklyn takes good care of of all the animals. Jacklyn was attentive to our needs as novice riders and she took plenty of time to orient us to our horses and instruct us on how to ride safely. Jacklyn is also very knowledgeable about the desert environment and taught us about the various flora and terrain in the Morongo Valley. I would definitely recommend a private tour to anyone visiting the area. I will definitely go for another ride the next time I visit Palm Springs!

I find very hard to belief in any positive reviews, after been there. It is the worse of the worse. Staff is very unknowable, super rude, looks like they where hire from the local Home Depot or Labor Ready. Place is filty, filty, filty. I advise you to NOT, waste your money neither your time. The animal seem to be abandoned, who knows if they're seen by a veterinarian. Take my advise, stay AWAY, from this place.

My wife and I were recently visiting the area for some hiking and out anniversary We did the Via Ferrata with Wyatt. We enjoyed the course, and the rappelling really give it a fun extra element to it. My wife was really nervous, especially with the rappelling part. Wyatt did an amazing job, he was encouraging and helped her feel safe. I'm taking a trip back there with our son and specifically choosing to use ROAM again!

We visited Waco as a group of six and this was the absolute highlight of our trip! The ranch has an awesome staff (Shout out to Ruthie, Matt and Kylie) who were super helpful and sweet, all around great people. We stopped halfway for some pics and s’mores and even a lasso lesson. Saw some deer and armadillo on the trail. Beautiful property. We would highly recommend! Thank you again from the Maine crowd :) we had a blast!

This was the best horseback tour I've done and one of the best "adventure activities" I did while on the big island (& I did a lot).

The horses were super chill and knew exactly what to do and when, which made it very easy as a rider. But they were also not headstrong and took direction easily if you wanted to veer out of the line.

The guides were also terrific and obviously enjoyed their job and working with the horses. Bridgette and Jackie were so friendly, easy going, and attentive. They shared a lot of good lore and facts, in addition to casual banter that really made the whole ride feel very relaxed and quick. They provided opportunities to go faster in places if you wanted - and the horses were so well behaved, you will definitely want to try it.

Of course the scenery was excellent with sweeping views and nice variation of terrain and chance to see some of the other kept and wild animals on the ranch. Honestly I booked this because the other operator that had been recommended to me was closed and I'm so glad it worked out that way. 5 stars! I would come back again.

Action Adventure is just a short drive from Ouray and is located up in the most beautiful location. The horses were well behaved and taken care of and the trail guides were professional and friendly.
