You have seen all the reviews and photos- they do not do justice to this place- it is amazing, breathtaking. Many people have this slot canyon on their bucket list, I now know why. Booking was very easy. Directions were good (a few miles outside of Page, AZ) and Google Maps took us right there. Very organized. You travel the 15-20 minutes or so in an AIR-CONDITIONED mini bus (many of the other tour companies went in open trucks). Trust me, this makes a big difference on the ride back. Once there, our guide Tony was exceptional. Took dozens of photos of everyone in our group, knew just where we should stand, what camera settings to use, etc. Knew where to look. Gave a wonderful history of the canyon. We did not feel rushed at all, and we waited for several other groups to rush by, Tony took his time. After you leave the canyon you have to walk up and over a ridge (newly installed ramps and many steps) and then down 4-5 flights of steps to get back to the minibus. But not too bad and you are still on a high from seeing the canyon.
